About Joey Slotnick

Slotnick was born in Chicago and lives in New York City.

He is an ensemble member of the Tony Award winning LOOKINGGLASS Theatre Company where he has performed in many productions including Our Town, Wants & Needs, Great Men of Science Nos. 21 & 22 and Mary Zimmerman’s Arabian Nights.

Slotnick made his Broadway debut in The Big Knife (Clifford Odets) at the Roundabout Theatre Company and recently starred in Animal Crackers (Williamstown Theatre Festival) playing the Groucho Marx role of Captain Spaulding. He also starred in three World Premiere plays by Ethan Coen -- all directed by Neil Pepe (Atlantic Theatre) . Other New York credits include Nicky Silver’s The Altruists (Vineyard)The New York Ideadirected by Mark Brokaw (Atlantic) and Romance (Bay Street).  Slotnick also originated numerous roles at THE GOODMAN, NEXT and STEPPENWOLF Theatres. 

He is recognized for his Series Regular roles on BOSTON PUBLIC (Fox), THE SINGLE GUY (NBC) and NIP/TUCK (FX) and guest starred on numerous television shows including-- PSYCH, BOSTON LEGAL, LAW & ORDER: SVU, THE OFFICE, MEDIUM, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and ENTOURAGE.

His most recent features include -- THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, TOO BIG TO FAIL, BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN, ELEVATOR.
